Community is key.
Not only customers and projects are important to us, but above all it’s the people. To ensure that we regularly find time for each other, all colleagues from Hamburg, Berlin, Cologne, Leipzig, Munich and Salzburg come together regularly throughout the year for different occasions and events. On the one hand, these events serve to promote professional exchange across teams, and on the other hand they are simply a way of having fun together and strengthening our team spirit.
Work together, celebrate together…
…and we’re good at that!
On the consultant days that take place in summer and winter, we take the time to get to know each other in a relaxed atmosphere, also on a personal level. The offsite location is a surprise and always a highlight. There, we exchange ideas on internal and strategic topics, experience exciting team activities – and of course we can’t miss out on celebrating!
In addition to the consultant days, our topic days take place twice a year and bring together the entire team at one of our subsidiaries. Here we exchange information on projects, technical innovations and developments.
Every year we celebrate the big mgm summer party, in alternation either with all colleagues of the whole mgm-group in Munich, or in the following year with the local office team – “with kith and kin” – in a beautiful location in the country side.
Also our mgm-cp anniversary is celebrated adequately. That’s why we meet very year in November in Hamburg and raise our glasses with all our colleagues and alumni to our foundation in 2005.

…and in between all these events, we work with joy and energy on our projects!

The TopicDays (Thementage) offer the perfect stage for me to look outside of the box and learn from my coworker’s areas of expertise yet unknown to me. On one hand that provides the opportunity for me to reflect that expertise in my own project context and in addition may uncover new synergies and potentials within my own topic portfolio. In addition to the professional exchange the central focus is the social aspect – to meet new colleagues and to share a cold beverage or two. All of course in a comfortable atmosphere.
For me the TopicDays as well as the day-to-day business at mgm demonstrate that the bond and support between colleagues are an essential component of our company culture. Questions can always be asked in the big round and knowledge transfer is highly valued.

The Consultant Days at mgm are something along the lines of a family celebration. We take time out of the day-to-day business and explore unknown territories together. Be it building a stilt house for an integrated child care charity in the Tölz countryside or getting involved in sustainably managing a country estate hotel in the Mecklenburg Lake District – the ConsultantDays are everything but a boring traditional team building event. Oftentimes new hobbies, joint interests and unexpected talents are uncovered. The best part is that ConsultantDays are organized by colleagues for colleagues. That’s why the topics are always current and a great opportunity for everyone to gain expertise in the context of a large team event.
